Global beverage giant Pepsi is redefining football fashion with a bold new lineup of apparel drops launched as part of its global ‘Refresh the Game’ campaign — a celebration of the brand’s iconic legacy in football marketing over the past 50 years.

Teaming up with visionary London streetwear designer Clint419 and football fashion pioneers Classic Football Shirts, Pepsi’s latest releases blend cutting-edge design with nostalgic flair, pushing the boundaries of what sports-inspired fashion can be.

The ‘Wear-A-Ball’ Jacket: A World-First by Clint419 x Pepsi

One of the standout releases is the ‘Wear-A-Ball’ jacket, an experimental piece created in collaboration with Clint419 — the British-Nigerian designer behind cult label Corteiz. This jacket doesn’t just turn heads — it turns into a fully functional football.

The world-first design utilizes a proprietary lightweight construction that allows the jacket to unzip, flatten, and transform into a ball that stores seamlessly within the collar. It can be worn around the waist like a backpack — merging fashion with playability.

Pepsi calls it “more than just tech-wear — it’s a ticket to play.”

Crafted from 100% recycled polyester, the jacket features an electric blue and black color palette with reflective silver detailing and the iconic Pepsi globe logo on the chest. The limited-edition piece was designed in collaboration with COPA90, techwear experts Niran Nair and Pasquale Daniel, and Jenni Arksey from Goose Design.

Only 25 jackets are available globally. Fans can win one by purchasing select limited-edition Pepsi football shirts from Classic Football Shirts, either online or at the retailer’s Manchester and London locations. Winners will be selected at random while supplies last.

Pepsi x Classic Football Shirts: A Blend of Heritage and Innovation

In addition to the techwear drop, Pepsi and Classic Football Shirts (CFS) have collaborated on a new apparel range that blends retro aesthetics with modern flair — all in Pepsi’s signature electric blue and black.

The lineup includes:

  • The Modern Shirt – A sleek, pulse-inspired jersey co-designed by Pepsi’s in-house team, featuring futuristic patterns that echo the energy of the brand.
  • The Icon Shirt – A tribute to Pepsi’s deep football roots and long-time UEFA Champions League sponsorship, designed to evoke the brand’s cultural legacy.
  • The Retro ‘70s Shirt – Slated for release in September, this shirt brings back the Pepsi blue from the brand’s classic 1981 “Have a Pepsi Day!” campaign featuring Pelé, reimagined for today’s generation.

Pepsi’s revamped kits are styled by football royalty — with campaign ambassadors Alexia Putellas, Farah Jefry, and Caroline Graham Hansen modeling the collection across bold campaign visuals.

Couture Collab Teaser: Fashion Meets Football

Looking to blur the lines between pitchwear and high fashion, Pepsi is also preparing to unveil a couture-level collaboration in July. A yet-to-be-revealed designer is working with the brand to create three bespoke garments by upcycling Pepsi x CFS football shirts — promising a unique, sustainable twist to the football-fashion movement.

A Cultural Moment in Football Fashion

From streetwear innovation to heritage homage, Pepsi’s ‘Refresh the Game’ campaign isn’t just celebrating football culture — it’s reshaping it.

Whether you’re a collector, a player, or a street-style enthusiast, this drop offers a rare intersection of sport, creativity, and nostalgia — right in time for the build-up to the 2026 World Cup.
