South African sensation Tyla is floating into a new era — quite literally — with her latest teaser for the dreamy single Bliss. Shared across her social media on April 29, the clip shows her ethereal transformation as angel wings sprout behind her while she sings the hypnotic chorus:
“Take me out of my mind / Oh-oh-oh, oh, oh-oh / You take me to bliss.”
This isn’t just a musical drop — it’s a full-on experience. The 23-year-old hitmaker, fresh off her buzzworthy Coachella performance, first previewed Bliss live during her set earlier this month. Fans quickly picked up on the subtle shift in sound and vibe — a sign that Tyla’s upcoming sophomore album may explore bolder, softer, and more experimental sonic territory.
In a clever twist, Bliss is also the name of her newly launched signature Erewhon smoothie. But it’s more than just a promo play — proceeds from every smoothie go directly to 18twenty8, a nonprofit in Tyla’s home country dedicated to empowering women aged 18–28 through education and personal development.
A New Chapter
Tyla’s last project — the deluxe edition of her self-titled debut album — dropped just last October, but she hasn’t slowed down. She recently joined fellow South African artist WizTheMc on the remix of “Show Me Love,” which just hit No. 11 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart (dated May 3).
