Plot: Prehistoric Peril and Paws-on Action
In this dino-sized adventure, the PAW Patrol pups find themselves on an uncharted tropical island after their ship is swept away by a mysterious storm. The island isn’t just home to palm trees and waterfalls—it’s packed with dinosaurs.
There, the team meets Rex, a fellow pup stranded for years, who has become an expert on the island’s prehistoric inhabitants. Trouble brews when the mischievous Mayor Humdinger arrives with plans to mine the island for its natural resources. His reckless actions awaken a dormant volcano, threatening to wipe out everything on the island.
Now, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to embark on their biggest rescue yet—one that could save dinosaurs, the island, and themselves.
Production Powerhouse Behind the Film
The movie is helmed by returning director Cal Brunker, who co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Barlen. It’s produced by Spin Master Entertainment’s Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie, and Toni Stevens, with Spin Master co-founder Ronnen Harary serving as executive producer. The film is produced in association with Nickelodeon Movies and will be distributed globally by Paramount Pictures, excluding Canada where Elevation Pictures takes the lead.
Jennifer Dodge, President of Spin Master Entertainment, stated:
“This amazing assembly of performers is befitting of the dino-sized franchise that is PAW Patrol. Alongside the brilliant talent already involved, these additions will make this a must-see adventure for kids and families around the world.”
