Justin Bieber Proudly Supports Hailey Bieber After Her $1 Billion Rhode Skincare Deal
Justin Bieber is beaming with pride as his wife, Hailey Bieber, celebrates a major career milestone. The model and entrepreneur just sold her skincare brand, Rhode, to e.l.f. Beauty in a landmark deal valued at a staggering $1 billion, just three years after its launch.
Following the announcement on Wednesday, May 23, the pop icon took to Instagram to subtly but sweetly support Hailey. He shared a stunning photo of her dressed in a sleek white suit, alongside a screenshot of her official announcement.
“When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company,” Hailey wrote. “The most important thing to me is to keep bringing Rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally… Today, I am incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty — a like-minded disruptor that shares my passion for big ideas and innovation.”
Hailey, 28, will remain deeply involved in the company, stepping into a new position as Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation for Rhode, as well as a strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty.
“Thank you to the amazing Rhode team who’ve helped build this with me,” she added. “And to our community — thank you for your support. This next chapter will be even more incredible.”
While Hailey didn’t mention the financial details in her post, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal reported that the deal includes $600 million in cash, $200 million in e.l.f. stock, and a possible $200 million in performance-based bonuses over the next three years.
A Love That Builds and Grows
Justin has been one of Hailey’s biggest supporters throughout her Rhode journey. Since the brand’s launch, he’s attended numerous events by her side. In February, he shared photos from a Rhode pop-up, captioning, “Congrats baby on your beautiful @rhode pop-up.”
Their love story — full of ups and downs — continues to evolve. Just recently, Hailey graced the cover of Vogue, speaking candidly about her life as a businesswoman, public figure, and now a new mom to baby Jack Blues, born in August.
Justin also reflected on his marriage in the interview:
“I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
A Past Mistake, Publicly Addressed
The couple’s vulnerability has also been on display. Earlier in May, Justin shared — and later edited — a raw caption on Instagram, revealing that during a past argument he once told Hailey she’d “never be on the cover of Vogue.” He later apologized:
“Yikes I know, so mean… For some reason, I felt so disrespected I thought I had to get even. But as we mature, we realize we’re not helping anything by getting even… So baby, you already know — but forgive me for saying you wouldn’t get a Vogue cover, because clearly I was sadly mistaken.”
A Billion-Dollar Power Move
Hailey Bieber’s rise in the beauty world has been meteoric. From launching a brand rooted in simplicity and clean aesthetics to closing one of the biggest celebrity brand deals in recent years, she’s carved out a path entirely her own — with unwavering support from her husband.
With Hailey stepping into a more strategic and creative role, and Justin proudly cheering her on, one thing is clear: this power couple isn’t just winning hearts — they’re winning in business too.
