Barbra Streisand Taps Mariah Carey & Ariana Grande for New Duet on Upcoming Album The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two

Legend meets legends.

Barbra Streisand is back — and she’s not coming alone. The iconic vocalist and cultural force just announced her new album The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, dropping June 27 via Columbia Records.

A follow-up to her 2014 chart-topping collab album Partners, this new project brings together some of the biggest names in music — from rock gods to soul icons to Gen Z hitmakers. But the moment that’s already setting the internet on fire? A powerhouse three-way duet with Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande titled One Heart, One Voice.

That’s not all. The album also features new takes on classics with:

• Paul McCartney (My Valentine)
• Bob Dylan (The Very Thought of You)
• Sam Smith, Sting, Seal, and many more

The first single, a hauntingly beautiful cover of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face with Hozier, is out now — and it’s as soulful as it is timeless. Hozier shared his admiration, calling the duet “a huge honor” and a tribute to the legacy of Roberta Flack.

Speaking on the album, Streisand said:

“I’ve always loved singing duets with gifted artists… They inspire me in unique and different ways. This album gave me the chance to work with old friends and new talents I deeply admire.”

The album is executive produced by Streisand and Jay Landers, with production by Walter Afanasieff and Peter Asher, and orchestration from William Ross and David Campbell.
